The Adult Choir leads worship in the singing of both the liturgy and hymnody throughout the year at the 11:00 service. Depending on the lessons and liturgy of the day, the choir sings a varied repertoire of anthems from well-known classics up through music of the present time. On special Sundays or occasions such as Christmas, Palm Sunday and Easter, the Adult Choir sings at both the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.
Everyone is invited ’ no auditions are necessary! All that is "required" to sing with us is a willing spirit and a servant’s heart. A Choir member at Christ Church is expected to attend the weekly rehearsal on Wednesday evening at 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the choir room as music is prepared for upcoming Sundays and special occasions. Additionally, each singer is asked to report at least 30 minutes before any service in which the choir is expected to vest and process (10:30 on Sunday morning).
